Today is Christmas Eve and depending on how organized you were this holiday season, you may still want to bake some holiday cookies! I didn’t get a lot of time this season for Christmas baking since we moved on December 1st and much of the first week of December was spent unpacking and organizing. Hopefully, your holidays have gone much smoother than mine! Because there is not much time before Christmas – approximately 10 hours to be precise lol – it’s best to choose a bar cookie recipe, which is easy to prepare. This Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars recipe checks off all the boxes: delicious; easy; and popular. Of course, you won’t even attempt these if your child has a peanut allergy! If that is the case, you might want to check out these other popular bar cookie recipes for Christmas.
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be celebrated quite differently this year due to the rising Omicron case numbers in Ontario. My brother is coming over later this afternoon to exchange gifts and enjoy some festive appetizers. On Christmas Day, my mother and I will go to my brother’s place for the afternoon and then we’ll go to my sister’s on Boxing Day, which is an annual tradition. How will you be spending Christmas this year?
I hope you are having a wonderful Christmas Eve and that you have most of your holiday to-do list done. Let me know in the comment section if you decide to make my Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars recipe. Merry Christmas everyone!
