No, thanksI'm already a PureWow fan.

No, thanks I hate pretty things.

Memorial Day is here, and that means that summer—aka grilling season—has officially begun. To celebrate the warmest (and tastiest) time of the year, we’ve rounded up seven dinners to cook on the grill this week. Don’t let the coals intimidate you: These recipes are foolproof for pitmasters and newbies alike, from jerk chicken cutlets to grilled flank steak.

Produce 1 mango 2 avocados 1 red onion 1 jalapeño 6 limes 1 head cauliflower 1 ear corn 11 garlic cloves 5 lemons 1 small red cabbage 3 medium carrots 2 medium heads fennel One 1-inch piece ginger 2 pints cherry tomatoes 3 bunches cilantro 2 bunches scallions 3 bunches parsley 1 bunch dill 2 bunches mint 1 bunch chives 2 bunches basil

Meat 1½ pounds thin-cut skinless chicken breasts 1½ pounds skinless salmon fillets 12 ounces ground beef 2½ pounds chicken drumsticks 1½ pounds flank steak 3 anchovies

Dairy 2 ounces crumbled cotija cheese 6 ounces plain Greek yogurt 1 stick unsalted butter 16 ounces halloumi

Grains Steamed white rice, for serving 4 whole-wheat hamburger buns 1 large loaf sourdough bread

Canned and Packaged Goods Jerk seasoning 3 ounces unsweetened coconut cream Prepared coleslaw 16 ounces store-bought pizza dough

Pantry Ingredients: kosher salt, freshly ground black pepper, extra-virgin olive oil, avocado oil, smoked paprika, Old Bay seasoning, coconut oil, cumin, coriander, Aleppo pepper, crushed red pepper flakes, rice vinegar, honey, sriracha, garlic powder, vegetable oil, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, malt vinegar, chili powder, dried thyme, dried oregano, dried tarragon, whole-grain mustard

The warm, spicy notes of the jerk seasoning pair beautifully with the sweet, bright mango salsa. (We’d make a second batch to serve over fish or guacamole, if we were you.)

This vegetarian stunner is as unexpected as it is elegant. Our favorite part? Grilled summer corn makes a delicious cameo, alongside crumbled cotija cheese.

You could cook these protein-rich patties in a skillet, but we’d choose a piping hot grill any day, because char marks make everything tastier. Crown the burgers with a mound of coleslaw and serve with a side of roasted potatoes.

Proof that flatbreads can be delectable without the help of cheese. Save time by starting with a pre-cooked flatbread or pizza crust instead of store-bought pizza dough.

They’re sticky, spicy and messy in all the right ways. If you prefer not to eat with your hands, the sauce works just as seamlessly on chicken breasts and thighs.

Salad is better on a stick, trust us. Especially when there’s toasty cubed bread and tangy halloumi cheese involved. Might we suggest upping the seasonal ante with grilled zucchini?

Don’t let the long cooking time deter you—most of it is hands-off marinating. Just think of it as a built-in cocktail hour. Margaritas, anyone?
